Hacking Viruses
Hacking is exploiting weaknesses and holes in computer or phone systems. This allows hackers to gain access to data, spy on you/your contacts, install backdoors, and cause other malicious behaviour. Often, hackers are only interested in making money and will even publish embarrassing/sensitive information about you online to do so.
They can also cause damage to a phone or computer with viruses, which cause it to slow down and prone to error messages. They could even record your conversations! These trojans are known as trojans, and they can be found in music files pictures, free games or toolbars as well as other applications. People can also become affected by trojans when they open an email attachment that is infected or click on a malicious link. Hackers also have the ability to find unsecure websites and upload trojans to them to infect as many people as they can. Lastly, a new type of hacking is called remote administration tools (RATs). These programs give the attacker complete and total control over the victim’s computer.
In the films, hackers are the masters of figuring out passwords for accounts – however, in reality, they do this by using malware instead. It could be malware that records the passwords that you type or trojans that allow hackers to listen in on conversations on the microphone on your phone.
Most successful hacking attempts start with phishing emails/texts that trick you into clicking links or calling numbers. Scammers may gain access to your private information, computer or phone when you click on hyperlinks or call numbers. It is also essential to update your operating system on a regular basis and scan/delete all attachments prior to you download them.
